Your Church is made up of many different ministries, many that make Sunday possible, but all that make River city work all through the week.
Each of our ministries are staffed by teams of passionate volunteers that are using their gifts to make River City great.
Imagine what our families, church, and community would be like if we all took the time to do what God uniquely designed each of us to do in serving others. The ripple effect of each person making their unique contribution would result in a revolution of Christ’s love being felt in tangible, life-changing ways
If you’re interested in using your gifts to help us, you can reach out to any one of our ministry directors for more information and opportunities to serve, or click here to request more information about what volunteer opportunities are available.
Select a ministry in navigation above for details and contact information, or stop by the Guest Services counter on Sunday and we’ll get you hooked up.

This is a group of women that gather to work on their individual crafts and handiwork and enjoy one another’s company. Often they bounce ideas off to one another and work making items for the fall Silent Auction.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Your Subtitle Goes Here
Two Sundays a month, our children from age 4 to grade 6 leave our worship service and travel down to our Sunday School rooms in the
basement. There, as one group, with a teacher and a helper, they learn about God’s love through their lessons. As well, they make crafts that tie in with the theme of the day to be taken home at times.
Annually, they learn about and support LAMP, which is Lutheran Association of Missionary Pilots that do a vacation Bible School ministry in the Northern part of our prairie provinces.
Classes usually run from September to May and include the children taking part in a December Christmas Program during one of our worship services.
MUSIC MINISTRY
Your Subtitle Goes Here
Music is part of our corporate life of worship where we whole-heartedly engage with God, whom we love above all. Through songs, we exalt the name of Jesus, we declare His greatness, renew our covenant with Him, proclaim His gospel, and invite His presence into our lives so that we might live for His glory.
We lift our voices and instruments together as a congregation (one family!) in unity (one voice!), as children of the living God (one heart!). Everyone is invited to participate, both young and old. It is not about our talent, but about our hearts. Our only audience is God, our Heavenly Father.
Our heartfelt prayer is that when we leave the service, we will continue to meditate on the hymns and songs from our corporate worship service, in order that God’s word will dwell in our hearts throughout our week. We sing His praises from when we are awake to when we lie down!
YOUTH MINISTRY

Our youth group ministry meets every 3rd Saturday of the month at the church at 6:00 p.m. Our main activities include devotion on biblical themes, songs, games and much more. We occasionally hold outreach activities such as the Operation Christmas Child. We welcome youth between the ages of 11 -15 years old who would like to hear and learn more about the love of Jesus, as well as enjoy having fun. There is no fun without food! We have lots!!! So come! Worship; eat; have fun.
